A bungee tarp return kit assists with rolling your side roll trailer tarp to the closed position with a positive return tension. A bungee cord extended through a PVC pipe maintains tension, with knots on either end of the PVC pipe setting the desired tension. The end of the remaining exposed bungee cord is fastened to the side of your trailer, helping to keep the tarp aligned as it rolls and unrolls. When you roll up the tarp to open the trailer, the bungee tension is increased so that when you go to unroll the tarp and close the trailer, the tension stored in the bungee helps pulled the tube to the closed position. Without some kind of assist, it is likely the tarp will deploy unevenly.
